I got this amazing Acne denim dress at Opening Ceremony over the weekend. It’s got this really cute cord/zipper cinch in the back, and it’s just a great piece to just throw on when you’re running out the door. I’ve noticed I’ve been wearing a lot of light denim along with my usual dark colors, which is sort of funny. I suppose it has to do with the fact that it’s so warm out, so wearing dark colors is pretty stifling (not that I haven’t tried). I’ve been wearing my Bing Bang chain earrings a lot recently, so I wanted to post a better picture of them. They’re so easy and cute! I got a ton of Bing Bang jewelry last time I was in New York, and it’s kind of been dominating my jewelry wardrobe recently. Anyway, I’ve just been running errands today, nothing exciting.

Yesterday, I stayed up all night, drove to San Francisco at 6 in the morning, and braved SF’s first Barney’s Warehouse sale. I was 3rd or 4th in line, and I only got there an hour before it opened! Anyway, it was fun, I got to spend quality adventure time with Rick, and and I got a few cool pieces (Rick got a Comme des Garcons t shirt though, I’m super jealous. grrrr…) Here’s the first of my buys, a nice pair of slouchy jean shorts from Ever. I’ve been looking for slouchy jean shorts forever (or maybe just since Alex Wang’s fall ‘08 collection). These go along with my recent fondness for slouchiness and light grey. They’re super casual (seems like I’m always in casual mode these days!), but I’m not too concerned.
