I seem to be on a sort of animal-dressing binge. First, it was feathers, which I still haven’t gotten over. Then I moved onto more furry animals. And now, Alexander McQueen and Proenza Schouler’s great, sea-creature-like collections have me head over heels in love with vividly bright reptile and fish prints. I may tend towards neutral colors, but when I wear color, I generally love the brightest, most unique, and most saturated colors I can get my hands on, and these collections had that in spades. Proenza’s bright dresses look like they were made from giant, tropical fish, and I would definitely not mind looking like a large fish if it meant wearing something like that.

PS How amazing are Proenza Schouler’s spring shoes!?! I’m in love.
