Threeasfour x Yoko Ono

Have you ever had one of those days where you have a complete crisis over the state of your closet? I’m not talking, “Ho hum, I have nothing to wear”, I mean a complete loss of faith in your taste, style, and closet, as if you’ve been buying all the wrong things for years? I had one of those days today. I literally doubted everything to do with my clothing and sense of style, wondering if, after all the time I’ve spent obsessing a little too much over fashion, I still had the sartorial sense no more unique or interesting than the nearest tween mallrat. I was completely drained of inspiration and hope. It was pretty upsetting. But, I’m trying to have hope, because tomorrow marks the beginning of the Spring/Summer ‘10 show season, and there will be a huge batch of new collections that will hopefully be inspiring. This season, Threeasfour is collaborating with Yoko Ono on a spring collection, and, from the little peek at the collection, it looks to have a very Threeasfour feel. Pictures of Gabi, Ange, and Adi working on a light and airy looking collection really remind me of how meticulous and handworked designers’ work is, and give me hope for a fresh and inspiring spring season.
