Sorry for the lack of posting over the weekend!! I’ve been super busy packing up and starting to move to school. The amount of clothes I have definitely does not make my semi-mobile lifestyle very easy. Anyway, I’m actually looking forward to Loic Prigent’s new series The Day Before that documents the chaos before the Fendi, Proenza Schouler, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Sonia Rykiel Fall 09 shows even more than I’m looking forward to seeing The September Issue. I absolutely love Loic’s other work (how amazing was Marc Jacobs Louis Vuitton?), and, no offense to RJ Cutler, but he’s the original fashion documentary filmmaker, and he has such a great, whimsical, but never shallow way of showing behind the scenes fashion. Unfortunately, I don’t get the Sundance Channel, so I won’t be able to watch it on a big TV, but I will find a way to watch it somewhere. The Sundance Channel has 11 clips already up, which is great, because I hate waiting. It airs tomorrow, so if you have The Sundance Channel, watch it!
