kingapop7This editorial from the September issue of the newly resurrected Pop magazine is pretty much a 180 degree turn from the Ann Demeulemeester editorial that I posted yesterday, but I like it. It’s sort of reminiscent to the Prada fall lookbook with all it’s crazy photoshopping and surreal touches, but it’s got a bright, almost 80’s tone. No wolves’ heads or lightning here, just colorful wigs and candy bright colors. It seems like everyone’s in full-on fall mode, which means that everyone seems determined to wear only black and grey (myself included), so it’s nice to see a fall editorial that reminds us not to forget color completely. There are so many ideas going on in this shoot, it seems like it wouldn’t be very consistent, but somehow, the images all make sense together. More pictures after the cut!
