I’m looking for a dress. My parents are throwing a big anniversary party in a month, and I need a dress to wear to it. While my mom already has an Herve Leger gown sitting in my closet, I’m a little less prepared, and way more indecisive. I just can’t decide whether I should wear a full-length dress, or a short one.
I’ve always favored shorter dresses, partly because I assumed that long dresses would completely overwhelm me (yes, I am that small), and also because they’re easier to dance in. Hah.
But, with my recent and pretty pleasant foray into maxi dresses, I’m now on the fence as to which I want to wear. A simple little dress just seems more fun, and besides, I’m 20, I can get away with butt-grazing dresses (ahaha, I love that phrase), so hey, why not? On the other hand, there’s something quite nice about a long dress, and I rarely wear them anyway.
So, any suggestions? Should I go long or short?
